Your Tires Stick Out. Cover Them The Right Way.

Bigger tires, lift kits, and off-road miles leave your factory fenders behind — spraying mud, flinging rocks, and inviting fines for uncovered rubber. Bushwacker fender flares, rocker panels, and bed rail caps put a tough, purpose-built shield over every exposed edge of your truck or Jeep.

The Problem

Every Off-Road Build Bleeds Body Panels

Lift the truck, run bigger tires, wheel a Jeep hard — and your factory sheet metal starts paying the price. These are the three complaints we hear every single week.

01

Tires That Stick Out Past The Fenders

Wider wheels and taller tires poke past the factory fender lip. That means mud stripes down the doors, gravel chipping paint behind the wheels, and inspection-officer citations for uncovered rubber.

02

Rocker Panels Getting Chewed Up

Trails, curbs, and running boards leave rocker panels scarred, dented, and rust-prone. Once the paint is broken, the rot creeps in — and a rocker replacement is body-shop money.

03

Bed Rails And Tailgates Chipping To Bare Metal

Tie-down straps, tool boxes, dogs, and daily loads eat the paint off your bed rails and tailgate cap. What’s left is chipped, rusting steel that drags down the whole truck’s value.

Our Solution

Purpose-Built Armor For Every Weak Spot

Bushwacker has built truck and Jeep body protection for decades. Every part below is engineered to fix a specific pain point — with vehicle-specific fitment and Dura-Flex 2000 material that doesn’t crack, chalk, or warp.

01

Bushwacker Fender Flares — Wider Coverage, Legal Tire Clearance

Pocket Style, Extend-A-Fender, OE Style, Cut-Out, Flat, Hyperform, Max Coverage, DRT, and Boss flares give you the exact amount of extra tire coverage your build needs — from a subtle OE look to full 4+ inches of pocket-bolted attitude. Model-specific for F-150, Ram, Silverado, Tundra, Jeep JK, Cherokee XJ and more.

02

Bushwacker Trail Armor Rocker Panels — Between Your Body And The Trail

Trail Armor rocker panel covers and rocker guards install over your existing rockers to absorb rock strikes, curb rash, and running-board damage. Textured Dura-Flex finish hides scars, resists UV chalking, and gives your rig that lifted-truck stance.

03

Bushwacker Bed Rail Caps & Tailgate Cap — Stop The Chipping For Good

Smoothback bed rail caps and matching tailgate caps snap over chipped, rust-prone edges to hide existing damage and prevent new hits. Truck-specific fit for F-Series, Silverado, Ranger and more — most kits install with 3M automotive tape, no drilling required.

Before vs After Bushwacker

Two Trucks. Same Miles. Different Story.

Both trucks ran the same trails, hauled the same loads, and saw the same winter salt. One had factory sheet metal. The other had Bushwacker armor bolted on. Here’s what changed.

Life Without Bushwacker

  • Oversized tires spraying mud straight down the doors and rear quarters
  • Chipped rocker paint that turned into surface rust after one winter
  • Bed rails looking chewed up from tie-downs and tool boxes
  • Tailgate cap scratched down to bare metal from loading gear
  • Failed vehicle inspections for tire coverage in strict-inspection states
  • Resale hit — buyers see the body damage and walk away

Life With Bushwacker

  • Wider fender flares that legally cover every inch of tire tread
  • Trail Armor rockers taking the rock hits instead of your body panels
  • Smoothback bed rail caps hiding old damage and blocking new chips
  • Tailgate cap that looks factory-molded and shrugs off cargo abuse
  • Inspection-ready coverage that keeps the truck street-legal
  • Aggressive lifted-truck stance that adds real resale appeal

Case Study — Lifted F-150

3″ Lift + 35s. No More Doorline Mud.

“After I lifted my F-150 and threw 35s on it, the tires poked past the fenders and my truck came home filthy every drive. Bushwacker Pocket Style flares gave me the coverage I needed and honestly changed the whole look of the truck.”

Case Study — JK Wrangler

Rockers Saved On A Rubicon Run.

“I put Trail Armor rocker covers on before my first real trail weekend. Came off the Rubicon with a couple of solid rock strikes on the armor and zero damage to the actual body panels underneath. Best money I’ve spent on the Jeep.”

Case Study — Silverado Work Truck

Ugly Bed Rails Back To Looking Factory.

“My Silverado’s bed rails were chewed up from a decade of tie-downs and one very determined Labrador. The Smoothback caps hid every chip and now the truck looks 8 years newer. Install took an afternoon in the driveway.”

Bushwacker FAQ — The Questions Buyers Actually Ask

Real concerns we hear before people commit to a set. Straight answers, no fluff.

“Will Bushwacker fender flares actually fit my exact truck?”

Every Bushwacker fender flare kit is engineered for a specific make, model, and year range — from the Ford F-150 and F-250 to the Ram 1500 and 2500, Silverado, Tundra, Tacoma, Jeep JK, and Cherokee XJ. Confirm the fitment on the product page before you order and you’ll get flares molded to your fender contours, not a universal one-size-fits-nothing part.

“Do I have to drill into my truck to install flares?”

It depends on the style. OE Style and Extend-A-Fender flares typically install using existing factory holes with no drilling required. Pocket Style and Boss flares use the aggressive bolt-look hardware and may require drilling on some fitments — the exact install method is called out on each product page so there are no surprises in your driveway.

“Is the Dura-Flex 2000 material going to crack or fade?”

Dura-Flex 2000 is Bushwacker’s TPO-based composite, engineered to flex in cold, resist impacts, and hold up to years of UV exposure without chalking or cracking. It’s the same material philosophy we’ve used across our fender flares, rocker panels, and bed rail caps — built for trucks that actually get used.

“Can I paint my Bushwacker flares to match my truck’s color?”

Yes. Most Bushwacker flares ship in textured matte black for that factory off-road look, but the material is designed to accept automotive paint when prepped correctly. We also offer factory-painted flares and Boss flares in select finishes if you want the paint-match look without the bodyshop trip.

“Will rocker panel covers actually stop damage or just hide it?”

Both. Trail Armor rocker panel covers add a physical layer of textured armor between the trail and your factory rocker sheet metal, absorbing rock strikes, curb hits, and running-board scrapes. And because they wrap the visible portion of the rocker, they also cover up chips and scratches that are already there.

“Are Bushwacker parts covered if something goes wrong?”

Yes — Bushwacker fender flares, rocker panels, and bed rail caps are backed by a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects for the original purchaser. You’re not gambling on a no-name kit; you’re buying parts engineered and warrantied for the long haul.
